Acknowledgment of Risk

Dynamo School of Gymnastics and Gymtots R OK is a gymnastics centre based in Hamble and proudly affiliated with British Gymnastics, the UK’s governing body for gymnastics. All activities offered during the Halloween Party Fun Session are planned with safety as a priority and are conducted in accordance with British Gymnastics guidelines and risk assessment standards.

While every effort is made to create a safe environment, parents/guardians should be aware that participation in gymnastics-related activities involves some inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to:

• Minor injuries such as sprains, strains, and bruises.

• More severe injuries, including fractures, dislocations, or concussions (though these are rare).

• Risks associated with the use of gym equipment or facilities.

Health & Safety Information

1. Fire Safety:

   If the fire alarm sounds, please take yourself and your children out through the designated fire exits and meet at the far side of the car park. Staff will inform you when it is safe to return.

2. First Aid:

   Multiple trained first aiders will be on-site throughout the event.

3. Supervision Policy:

   Parents and guardians must supervise their children at all times.

4. Equipment Use:

   • The trampoline must only be used by one person at a time.

   • Parents and adults are not permitted to use the equipment.

Medical and Emergency Authorization

In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize the staff of Dynamo School of Gymnastics and Gymtots R OK to administer basic first aid. If further medical attention is necessary, I consent to the staff contacting emergency medical services on behalf of my child. I understand that my child may be transported to a hospital or treated by emergency responders if required.

Dress Guide

It’s Halloween, so fancy dress is welcome – the spookier the better! 🎃 Please note, for safety and comfort, no face paint or coloured hairspray is allowed. Get creative with costumes, props, and accessories, and come ready for a frightfully fun party!

Release of Liability

By signing this waiver, I acknowledge that I release and hold harmless Dynamo School of Gymnastics and Gymtots R OK, their staff, volunteers, and any affiliated parties from any liability, claims, or demands arising out of my child’s participation in the Halloween Party Fun Session. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, property damage, or loss occurring during the event.
